Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Interventional Cath Lab experience required. One year of interventional cath lab experience accepted; diagnostic-only experience is not sufficient.
- Experience with STEMI/NSTEMI, LHC/RHC, CHF, Angina, ACS, Afib, IABP/Impella, CTOs, staged/protected PCI, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacers.
- Familiarity with scrub and pan table techniques, groin site management and monitoring, and use of medrad equipment.
- State-specific licensure when required.
- Ability to complete required facility orientation including classroom and unit orientation shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred.
- Experience with laser lead extraction, Rotablator, FFR, IVUS, Impella, EKOS, pacemaker implants and management.
- Experience with EP, vascular, PE, or structural/hybrid cases such as pacemaker procedures, peripheral and carotid interventions, Inari/EKOS, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO procedures is desirable.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR, Philips XPER hemodynamic system, IntellaSpace PACS, and Omnicell medication dispensing.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0630-1830.
- Weekend rotation required as part of scheduling.
- No floating required.
- Orientation: 24 hours classroom for new or returning travelers absent 1+ year, plus 1–3 shifts on unit depending on comfort.
- High-volume case load: typically 20–25 patients seen per day.

As a traveling cath lab technologist, you provide critical support for high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures in a Level II trauma hospital with a Level III NICU and a Primary Stroke Center. You will work in a multi-room cath lab environment that supports interventional, structural, EP, and peripheral workflows. Your role contributes to timely care for STEMI/NSTEMI and complex interventional cases and supports coordinated recovery in the cardiovascular recovery (CVR) area.
