Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist in Sioux City, IA. Use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce diagnostic-quality cardiac and vascular images for interpretation by the care team. This travel position supports a hospital setting and contributes to patient care across cardiology and vascular services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or equivalent ARDMS/CCI credentials required.
- At least 2 years of current cardiovascular and vascular sonographer experience required. Work history/resume must document 24 months of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 completed travel contract required.
- Epic electronic medical record experience required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Active Iowa license at time of submission required.
- Profile must include a skills checklist specific to cardiovascular & vascular sonography.
- Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge/supervisor/manager within the last 24 months preferred.
- Driver's license required (document).
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional credentials such as CCI or specialty vascular certifications preferred.
- Extensive experience performing full vascular studies including renal, pre-op mapping, pain mapping, and advanced vascular procedures preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Average volume: approximately 7–8 scans per day.
- Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- EMR: EPIC.
