Join our team in Jackson, MI as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist at a hospital. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and handling equipment, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
- Experience assisting in cardiovascular procedures and familiarity with CVOR instrumentation and sterile technique.
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment and follow perioperative protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional perioperative certifications are preferred.
- Experience with complex cardiac cases preferred.
