WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the PT program within our building and caseload
- Interview children/caregivers and use physical examinations to diagnose the source of children's movement difficulties
- Create unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used
- Help children to learn to move their bodies correctly, make their movements less painful, increase the functions of injured body parts, and heal from injuries
- Assess clients and monitor their progress
- Use techniques like functional training and exercise, medication, diet changes, and specialized equipment that is designed to treat and alleviate pain
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide training and support to non-PT professionals

QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities including autism
- 1 year of experience overseeing and training staff
- Ability to work independently as well as with a multidisciplinary team
- Valid Physical Therapist credential/license
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
