Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience providing evaluations, creating and implementing functional treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and payer requirements is required.
- Experience with outpatient documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students, and participate in student clinical education preferred.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Kentucky practice act.
