Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring Topeka, KS.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required. Master’s or Doctoral degree acceptable.
- Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- KSBHA registration or requirements as applicable for Kansas.
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of start if not already held. BLS may be from AHA or ARC.
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred, including care for general medical, neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, and joint replacement patients.
- Experience with joint replacement patients and participation in late joint rotation required as part of clinical duties.
- Epic electronic health record experience preferred, not required.

Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital
- Shift Name: Days
- Shift Details: 8 hour days
- Typical Shift Hours: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday; 40 hours/week
- Patient Load Expectation: Build to 7–8 patients per 8-hour shift (100% productivity target)
- Clinical Focus: General medicine, neuro, ortho, cardiac, respiratory, trauma, surgical, ICU, joint replacement; ED patients less common
- Daily Tasks: Chart review, scheduling, evaluations and treatments, midday huddle at 12:45, lunch break, possible paired work with PT during orientation
- Onsite Requirements: Participate in late joint rotation. No weekends and no on-call required according to client notes.
- Traveler Requirement: No first-time travelers for this assignment.
