Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to start.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the client.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting is required by the client.
- Demonstrated proficiency with common hospital equipment and procedures, including gait training, transfers, therapeutic modalities, and charting in electronic medical records.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in inpatient or acute care environments is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow hospital protocols.
