Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress for geriatric and medically complex patients preferred.
- Comfort with providing restorative care, ADL retraining, and durable medical equipment recommendations preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families.
