We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills. This role supports rehabilitation, restorative care, and discharge planning in a long-term care setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active SC Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute setting is required by the client.
- Prior experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations preferred.
- Proficiency in documentation using electronic medical records is preferred.
