In this role, you will be a vital part of the team, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients in the Med Surg/PCU unit. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive patient education and ensuring patient safety through preventative measures
- Operating and troubleshooting equipment in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas
- Implementing infection control and isolation procedures with accurate documentation
- Maintaining complete and accurate documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
- Ensuring timely completion and accuracy of physicians' orders
- Communicating effectively with other departments and reporting critical lab values promptly
- Restocking emergency carts and supplies as needed
- Flexing to different departments as required
Requirements for this position include:
- Active WA RN license
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Flexibility to work in various departments
