Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and organizing instruments and supplies, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and maintaining aseptic technique and proper instrument counts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room environment.
- Experience with 12-hour day shifts and perioperative workflows preferred.
- Ability to function on-call as needed and respond promptly when called.
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain required state credentials prior to start.
- Client requirement: experience working in an acute care hospital operating room and familiarity with sterile processing and instrument setup for general and specialty surgical cases.
- Preferred: experience with electronic health record documentation and surgical instrument tracking systems.

- Call requirement: rotation for on-call coverage as required by the client.
- Float requirement: may be required to float to other facilities within the client network.
