Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient clinic experience required. Candidates must have experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and post-operative patients.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress patients toward functional discharge goals.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide appropriate student supervision when assigned.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Connecticut Practice Act.
- Preferred: Prior travel or contract outpatient physical therapy experience.

Responsible for delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Completes timely, accurate documentation in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines. Participates in professional development and supports clinic performance improvement initiatives. Adheres to organizational standards for patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infection control, and work environment safety.
