Minimum Requirements
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program or equivalent required.
- Current Alabama Physical Therapist license in active status and in good standing required.
- AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR certification required.
- Minimum 18 months to 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed PT; must have at least 1 year of experience in relevant specialty areas such as geriatric, neurological, stroke, or amputation care.
- Experience working in inpatient and acute care settings required.
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed required.
- Must be able to perform physical job demands including lifting, pushing, pulling, ambulation assistance, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Ability to document patient care electronically and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams required.
- Preferred: Additional licenses in OT or SLP.
