Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Missouri state license or Compact license eligible and required to start the assignment.
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapist clinical experience required.
- Experience in long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) or inpatient rehab required.
- New graduates may be considered only if they have completed a Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation).
- Ability to evaluate, plan, and deliver rehabilitation services including manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, ambulation, modalities, wound care, and use of assistive devices.
- Experience with standardized assessments, electronic documentation systems, and accurate treatment minute documentation.
- Ability to supervise and support PTAs, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Adherence to APTA and state practice acts, professional code of conduct, and ethics.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour days. Start times must be before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM; times are flexible if consistent and communicated with Director of Rehab.
- Weekend Requirement: No routine weekends. If a holiday falls within Monday–Friday schedule, hours may be made up on a weekend.
- Average Weekly Guarantee: 35 GWW.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.

Additional Role Information
- Clinical responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with physical functioning disorders, developing and revising plans of care, documenting per regulatory requirements, participating in care conferences and utilization review, and providing discharge summaries.
- Candidates should be prepared for participation in facility and company-required trainings and in-services.
- Overtime, holiday, and call policies follow facility and company guidelines. Specific overtime/holiday pay structure will be provided by the recruiter.
