Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
- Either acute care or LTAC experience required. Candidates without one of these will not be considered.
- Experience with mobility devices and acute care patient populations preferred.
- EMR experience with MediTech preferred.
- Ability to manage patient lists up to 13 and work within an interdisciplinary rehab department preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift Hours: 0800-2000.
- Float: Candidate will treat the west campus psych/rehab area as a float unit and may float between hospital units as needed.
- Unit Profile: Rehab department operates primarily day shift with multidisciplinary staff including PTs, OTs, and SLPs. Patient lists may reach up to 13 per therapist.
