Minimum Requirements
- Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Acute care experience required. Candidates without acute care experience will not be considered.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with mobility equipment and patient handling techniques.
- EMR experience preferred. Candidates with Meditech experience will be considered first.
- ICU experience preferred.
- Ability to manage typical caseloads of approximately 9–10 patients per day and meet productivity standards.

- Facility type: Hospital, inpatient physical therapy (acute care with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit).
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0800-1630.
- Typical patient load: Approximately 9–10 patients per day (75% productivity standard).
- EMR: Meditech used on unit.
- Staffing: Day team includes PT, OT, SLP. Night shift not applicable for this unit.
- Candidate may be expected to work across multiple floors (1–4) within the main hospital building.
