Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required prior to start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. AHA or ARC accepted.
- Experience evaluating patients, setting measurable treatment goals, and documenting outcomes in a clinical setting.
- Experience administering diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests and modifying plans of care based on re-evaluation.
- Experience providing patient and family education and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students as needed.
- Comfortable working in home health environments and traveling to patient residences throughout assigned service area.
- Preferred: Specialist certification and documented focused clinical expertise for clinical specialist roles. This is preferred and not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Assignment Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
- Start Window: Assignment begins in June and concludes in September (dates provided by client).
- Clinical Focus: Adult and pediatric rehabilitation including evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge coordination.
- Other Requirements: Must be available to travel within the service area to provide in-home care.
