Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation required. This includes evaluations and treatment experience in hospital or inpatient rehab settings.
- Experience with safe patient handling equipment and standard rehabilitation equipment.
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and occasional floating between acute care and rehab units as needed.
- Must wear facility-required eggplant colored scrubs.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Unit: Physical Therapy supporting both acute care and inpatient rehab (285 acute care beds, 16 inpatient rehab beds).
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700-1500.
- Scheduling: Five 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. One weekend every six weeks with ability to flex days when working the weekend.
- Patient ratio guidance: approximately 12:1.
- Unit support: Rehab tech available; unit secretarial support.
- On-call: Not applicable.
- Floating: May be required to cover both acute and rehab areas.
