Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.
- Ability to evaluate adult and pediatric patients, develop objective measurable treatment goals, and document progress in the medical record.
- Skill administering diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests and applying appropriate therapeutic modalities.
- Demonstrated effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and experience with discharge planning.
- Willingness to provide patient and family education and supervise PT assistants, aides, and students as needed.
- Clinical specialist certification required for PT Clinical Specialist roles. This is a client-specific requirement for specialist-level positions.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation and acute care focus.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0800-1600, five 8-hour shifts per week.
- Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
- Travel Role: Position is travel; clinician may be asked to float within the client’s system as needed.
