Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a core member of a cardiac surgical team, assisting surgeons and nurses in the operating room during cardiac procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the OR, maintaining sterile technique, setting up specialized cardiovascular instrumentation, and providing direct support throughout cases.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent CST/CST credential.
- BLS certification.
- 2 years' experience as a CVOR or cardiac surgical technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
- Experience with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and intraoperative devices (e.g., cardiopulmonary bypass familiarity preferred).
- Ability to work in an outpatient surgical setting and comply with facility-specific sterile processing and infection control protocols.
- Current state license or registration as required for Surgical Technologists in Kansas.
- Preferred: ACLS certification and prior experience with open-heart and peripheral vascular procedures.
