Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred)
- Must be able and authorized to work in an outpatient clinic environment that may include double-booked follow-up visits and productivity expectations of approximately 60 visits per week; typical daily patient load of 12–14. (Client-specific requirement)
- Must be willing to float to other clinics as needed. (Client-specific requirement)
- PT-only position; PTA candidates will not be accepted. (Client-specific requirement)
- First-time travelers and new graduates will be considered. (Client-specific note)
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
- Shift: Days.
- Primary rate type: 8-hour day schedule with a 36-hour guarantee and expectation to work up to 40 hours.
- Patient population: Outpatient orthopedics.
- Productivity expectation: ~60 visits per week; will see 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
- Overtime must be approved by clinic director prior to working additional hours beyond scheduled time.
- Option to be placed in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.
