Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
- Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and provide 1:1 treatment sessions, including evaluation, plan of care development, documentation, and charge entry.
- Competence with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, and letters of medical necessity.
- Willingness to supervise and mentor students when assigned.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Florida Practice Act.
- Preferred: Prior experience with safe patient handling protocols and materials handling procedures.
