Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Nevada Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred. This includes working with post-acute, long-term care, or complex care residents.
- Competence with mobility training, restorative programs, transfers, and ADL-focused treatment for older adults.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records and Medicare/Medicaid billing processes preferred.
- Ability to perform patient evaluations, develop measurable treatment plans, and provide progress notes in a timely manner.
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary team collaboration and family education.
