Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- Active American Heart Association BLS (CPR) certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical Physical Therapy experience in an acute care or inpatient setting.
- Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered.
- Profile requirements: current work history and skills checklist reflecting experience pertinent to Physical Therapy (documentation required).
- Two completed supervisory reference forms with dates employed (documentation required).
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital, inpatient physical therapy.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8 schedule). Willing to do 4x10s as well.
- Weekend Requirement: No weekend requirement.
- Assignment Length: 13 week travel assignment.
- Float Requirement: May be required to float within the health system to meet patient care needs.

Role Summary
Physical Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to restore patient function. Responsibilities include therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques.
