Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or certification by NMTCB required.
- State licensure required. Louisiana: LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTB; other state-specific licensure acceptable when applicable.
- BLS certification required.
- Basic computer experience required. Experience with PACS and image archiving workflow required; ability to follow PACS downtime procedures and act as PACS Superuser.
- Ability to handle radionuclides and pharmaceuticals following radiation safety protocols and complete required logs and periodic tests.
- Client-preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience.
- Preferred: Experience troubleshooting equipment issues and participating in QA processes.
