Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active PT license in Texas or a valid Compact License required to start the assignment.
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience in a long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting required.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, document per facility and accreditation standards, and supervise ancillary staff as required by state law.
- Preferred: experience with discharge planning, quality improvement activities, and AIDET communication technique.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 8-hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities per client needs.
