Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Virginia SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
- Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience performing dysphagia evaluations and treatment, including clinical bedside evaluations and instrumental assessment familiarity (e.g., FEES or modified barium swallow) preferred.
- Documentation and electronic medical record experience required.
