Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia state PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient clinic experience required.
- Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting using clinic-approved formats.
- Ability to perform safe patient handling and follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Must uphold professional codes of conduct and maintain required continuing education per state practice act.
- Preferred: Experience supervising students and providing clinical education.
