TransForce is seeking a CDL B Driver to support local operations based in Memphis, TN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL B Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:30am, 40-50 hours per week. No Weekends
- Pay: $26/hr plus overtime after 40
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Touch with doors and trim
- Delivering to construction sites and stores
- Pushing doors/trim to the end of the truck for customer assistance upon arrival
- Driver must be willing to work both in the city and other routes that covers the outskirts of Memphis such is Meridian, MS, Forrest City, AR, etc.
- Must be flexible to work until routes are complete. Could be as late at 6pm.
- Equipment: Box Truck
- Handling: Heavy Touch Freight
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operated equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
