As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and resource utilization. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team, providing high-quality care and support during critical moments.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessments
- Utilize evidence-based practices to collaborate with the healthcare team
- Provide patient education tailored to age, culture, and condition
- Delegate patient care effectively to ancillary personnel
- Precept student nurses and new hires as needed
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
Requirements for this role include:
- Current and active Colorado RN license or Compact license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, STABLE, and NRP certifications (or obtain within specified timeframes)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- One year of Emergency Department or Critical Care Nursing experience preferred
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment
