TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support Local operations based in Huntersville, NC . This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri , Dispatch time ranges from 5.00 am- 6:00 am, 40+ Hours per week.
- Pay: $26.50/hr OT after 40/hrs
- Route Type: Local route deliveries, NC/SC, load/unload, 10-12 stops per route
- Equipment: Tractor trailer, Automatic - 40' to 45' trailers
- Handling: Touch Freight, Electric Pallet Jack
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor trailer on local routes
- Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks using load rolling carts and pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
