What We Offer:

Schedule: PRN (per diem)
- There is no set schedule or guaranteed hours for PRN, PRN staff are asked to sign up for shifts to fill in any staffing gaps. Estimated department need is two days per week. Requires 1 Monday and 1 Friday per 6 week time tract.
  - 6:30A-3:00P, M-F. Center is closed on major holidays and weekends. Occasional late day if a case is running over.
Department: Operating Room
Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), 1730 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville, North Carolina
Unit Info: Procedures range from opthalmology, ortho, pain management, podiatry, urology and occasional pediatric patients.
Requirements: Candidate must have two years of prior operating room experience. This team is looking for someone who can circulate and scrub

What We're Looking For:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience: One year of operating room experience
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred.
Additional Skills (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
