Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electronics / PLC) – 1st Shift
$30.00/hour+ | Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Sheridan MN is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 1st shift role (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$30.00/hour or higher, depending on experience
Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components on production equipment.
- Diagnose issues with PLCs, motor controls, and control circuits.
- Perform preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance.
- Support mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Assist with equipment installation, modification, and movement.
- Identify and resolve recurring equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Follow all safety and compliance procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Experience in any of the following is relevant:
- Electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- PLC troubleshooting or diagnostics.
- Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Motor controls, relay logic, or control circuits.
- Mechanical systems, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Associate degree in Industrial Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
