About the Role
As a Senior Consulting Manager within our Capital Markets & Investment Compliance Consulting practice, you will make an impact by leading regulatory compliance initiatives for asset managers and financial services clients. You will partner closely with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure adherence to global securities regulations, investment guidelines, and internal governance frameworks, while driving process optimization and regulatory change delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the analysis and implementation of trade and investment compliance rules across global regulatory frameworks, including SEC, FINRA, MiFID II, and CFTC requirements.
- Oversee the onboarding of new investment mandates, ensuring client investment guidelines are accurately interpreted, coded, tested, and implemented within compliance monitoring platforms.
- Direct and support the investigation, escalation, and resolution of trade compliance alerts and breaches in partnership with Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Collaborate with Technology partners to configure, test, and validate compliance rule logic within Order Management Systems (OMS) and compliance platforms such as Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, or equivalent systems.
- Conduct current-state vs. future-state gap assessments of compliance workflows and recommend scalable process and control improvements.
- Lead the development and review of key project deliverables including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and UAT strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing regulatory insights, solution recommendations, and program governance leadership.
- Mentor and guide consulting team members, fostering high-quality delivery and professional development.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 10+ years of experience in trade compliance, investment compliance, or regulatory advisory roles within global consulting or asset management environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with securities regulations and investment compliance frameworks across U.S. and global markets.
- Proven experience working with enterprise compliance and OMS platforms such as Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated consulting leadership experience managing complex client engagements and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Prior experience supporting or consulting for tier-1 asset managers (e.g., Wellington Management, Fidelity Investments, or comparable institutions) is required.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and executive-level presentation skills.

Compensation & Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $134,000 – $158,000 USD annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to applicable plan terms.
