Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Active Georgia SLP license required to start the assignment.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology within the specialty.
- Experience in acute care preferred. MBS/FEES proficiency is preferred but not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8, days.
- Schedule includes a minimum of 2 weekends per 4 weeks; preferred 4 weekends per 4 weeks.
- Clinical setting: Acute care SLP department supporting patients across the hospital, including ICU, stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive diagnoses.
- Must be able to support physician-ordered evaluations and interventions throughout the hospital.
- Assignment length: 13 weeks.
