Job Title: Senior Industrial Engineer
Location: Barronett, WI (relocation assistance provided if necessary)
Pay: $110,000 - $130,000 plus 10% bonus

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer eager to join the construction sector and revolutionize the manufacturing process of large-scale steel structures. The Senior Industrial Engineer will provide technical expertise and leadership for improving labor efficiency and product flow within our facilities, directly supporting production and quality teams in the fabrication of steel assemblies. The ideal candidate will utilize LEAN and other system improvement methodologies to drive production efficiencies, continuous improvement initiatives, and decrease waste while advancing Industry 4.0 adoption. This role would also provide coaching and mentorship of technical knowledge to peers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering data and analyzing effects of equipment layout on product flow.
- Engages with production personnel to improve labor usage and reduce costs
- Develops and executes projects to reduce bottleneck processes and optimize material path
- Develops strategy for future equipment placement, facility expansion, and intraplant finished goods transfers
- Collect data and analyze information generated from systems, processes, and tasks; utilize statistical methods to develop improvement plans and future requirements needed for manufacturing processes
- Optimize labor, material, and other production costs to support current and future production requirements
- Analyze the planned workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency of structural steel
- Lead and coordinate cross-department efforts to improve E2E steel production
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related field; Industrial, Systems, or Manufacturing preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of statistics and process improvement methods
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-pace environment including team settings
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or similar)
- Knowledge of structural steel materials and welding processes preferred
- Ability to pass a background and drug screen
