Position Summary
Perform Simulations and administers Radiation Therapy according to Physician orders using existing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform Simulations and Administer Radiation Therapy according to physician orders using existing policies and procedures.
Be able to rotate through the 2 different sites at both Middletown & Westbrook, performing simulations and treatment delivery.
Work with both Elekta & Varian Linear Accelerators & GE Simulators.
Be flexible working with a varying schedule to include warm ups of Treatment Machines & Simulators.
Be willing to take the On Call Beeper for weekends.
Adhere to Radiation Therapy Policies & Procedures
Be a Team Player, working collaboratively with other staff in the department.
Provide the safest, highest quality healthcare and the best experience possible.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- ARRT board certified, currently licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut.
- Demonstrates ability to apply principles of Radiation Therapy Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification preferred; required upon employment.
