As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients and developing comprehensive treatment plans. You will engage with various hospital departments and medical staff to ensure the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 patient care with 45-minute appointments every hour
- Conducting appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on patient diagnosis
- Developing and revising treatment plans every 6 weeks or as needed
- Performing physical therapy techniques and modalities suitable for the diagnosis
- Documenting progress reports for insurance compliance and physician follow-up
- Sharing coverage for in-patient care on holidays and Sundays
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed in the State of California
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
- Need 1 year experience in setting
