Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field required
- Interest in or experience with ABA and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other similar licensure programs
- 2+ years of clinical or supervisory experience in school-based services preferred
- 2+ years of experience in training, coaching, or facilitation preferred
- Experience supervising staff and providing performance feedback
Compliance Requirements
- Must meet all DOJ/FBI background, TB, immunization, and health clearance requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (if applicable)
Position Summary
At Intercare, Field Readiness is how we ensure every new hire steps into the field prepared... not just trained. The Manager, Field Readiness – School Services owns the day-to-day delivery of our School Services new hire readiness experience. This role ensures that Behavior Interventionists, Program Managers, and Associate Clinical Directors are fully prepared and confidently cleared before serving students and school partners.
This leader oversees cohort execution, supervises Field Readiness Coaches, ensures fidelity of readiness evaluations, and partners closely with School Clinical and Operational leadership to maintain high standards of preparation. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role for someone who thrives in structured environments and values clarity, consistency, and impact. This position will report to our Senior Manager, Field Readiness – School Services and be an important part of our People Experience function.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Readiness Delivery & Cohort Oversight
- Coordinate School Services Field Readiness cohorts from launch through clearance
- Facilitate and/or oversee synchronous training sessions using standardized Field Readiness curriculum
- Ensure embedded competency checks and readiness milestones are implemented consistently
- Monitor trainee progression and time-to-clear across cohorts
- Verify completion of all readiness criteria prior to field placement
Supervision of Field Readiness Coaches
- Directly supervise Field Readiness Coaches assigned to School Services
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance oversight to ensure consistent application of readiness standards
- Conduct calibration and fidelity checks across coaches to maintain scoring integrity
- Serve as escalation point for trainees requiring remediation or extended coaching
Readiness Evaluation & Data Integrity
- Oversee accurate tracking of training completion, readiness scores, and clearance decisions
- Monitor dashboards to evaluate cohort engagement, progression, and performance trends
- Ensure all required milestones are completed prior to client assignment
- Use readiness data to identify training gaps and inform continuous improvement
Transition to Field
- Verify readiness status prior to client assignment
- Coordinate clearance communication with School Clinical and Operational leaders
- Ensure a structured and consistent handoff from Field Readiness to field leadership
- Flag readiness concerns that may require structured follow-up within the first 30 days
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Support collaboration efforts with School Clinical Leadership, School Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Field Readiness leadership
- Provide feedback on curriculum pacing, readiness standards, and delivery improvements
- Promote consistency and alignment across School Services training and readiness expectations

- Time-to-clear is predictable and aligned with hiring needs
- Readiness evaluations are consistent and calibrated
- School leaders report strong 30-day alignment between readiness and field performance
