CDL A Driver- Local, Light Touch | $26 Per Hour | Kansas City, Missouri
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City, MO. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Route & Load Details:
- Pay: $26/hr plus overtime after 40 hours
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Insulation
- Equipment: 53' tractor trailer
- Handling: touch
Schedule
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time between 4:30am and 7am. home daily
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Driver will deliver insulation to customer locally and within 150 mile radius of Kansas City. Drivers will unload product with pallet jack and also sometimes roll the insulation off the trailer. This is 60 to 65% driving and 30 to 35% warehouse work. However with the client having a heavy load, the drivers will mostly be driving. When the driver is in the warehouse they will help move insulation, get orders ready for the next day, and load the insulation on trailers using a forklift. Forklift experience is preferred but they are willing to train.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience operating a tractor trailer
