CPP Syracuse is currently looking for a Administrative Assistance/Receptionist to join our team!
Provide administrative support for the Senior Management Team and plant that ensures all tasks are completed in a timely fashion and paperwork requirements are met. Location: Chittenango, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour, but will be evaluated depending on candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Essential Job Functions/Duties
- Ensures a professional reception area is in place to greet and welcome visitors, vendors, and guests
- Receives incoming telephone calls when necessary, from the switchboard and directs to the appropriate individual or responds independently, when appropriate
- Handles all incoming and outgoing mail, including operating and maintaining the postage meter
- Perform complex and confidential administrative functions as well as clerical duties, to include but not limited to: photocopying, email, faxing and filing.
- Assist HR with company events
- Perform administrative tasks for HR to include interview assistance, clearance and other tasks as assigned
- Provides support To management team on projects, special assignments and meetings
- Process expense reports from employees, verifying that all required approvals were obtained, amounts are appropriate, and that the correct GL and departmental mapping was selected
- Assist the sales team with sales/price reporting and analysis
- Assist the sales team with the maintenance and population of CPPs commercial and marketing database
- Assist in the Sales, Inventory and Operation planning (SIOP) process with data input and review
- Maintain in conjunction with the sales and finance team CPPs rolling P&L forecast
- Knowledge of Office Suite is essential
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Ability to work overtime

Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in business preferred, but not required for this position
- Experience: 5+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources or receptionist experience required for this role
- Certifications/Licenses:
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Microsoft Office, Prefer experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD/MFG Pro 8.6 or newer
