As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing and managing care for patients. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. You may also have the opportunity to float within the same discipline across local campuses, enhancing your experience and adaptability.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and document care accurately
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records and communication
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training sessions as scheduled
- Every other weekend shift required
- Must have 2 years of previous Med Surg experience
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Insulin and Heparin administration required
- State license and EPIC experience required
