💰 Pay Range: $23 - $26 per hour + $3 shift differential
🕔 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00pm – 12:30am

Papillion Sanitation is looking for a safety-conscious Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team! This role is crucial in keeping our fleet running efficiently and safely by performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on our vehicles and equipment.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment
- Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and lubrication
- Inspect brakes, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components
- Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Basic knowledge of automotive/diesel maintenance and repair
✔️ Experience with preventative maintenance procedures
✔️ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
✔️ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
✔️ Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
✔️ Hydraulic experience is a plus
✔️ A valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
