Non-CDL Driver - Touch Freight - $23 Per Hour
TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL driver to support local operations based in Towson, MD.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Non-CDL Driver Details:
- Schedule: [Mon-Fri w/ some Weekends / 1st Shift (may have some evening events during peak season / home daily
- Pay: $23 Per hour
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Tents, tables, chairs, event equipment
- Equipment: Box Truck , 22ft-26ft, Automatic
- Handling: Loading & unloading by had with assistance from the crew
Non-CDL Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: Non-CDL
- Experience: 1+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: None
- Equipment Experience: Box truck
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Non-CDL Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Non-CDL box truck on local routes
- Transport lawncare materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including loading/unloading event equipment (tables, chairs, tents, etc.)
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
