Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity and technology sector, is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer to join their team. As a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of the Cybersecurity group supporting the Technology Exposure Management Engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer
What's the Job?
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module to support cybersecurity initiatives.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and scripts to automate and improve security processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure compliance, risk management, and effective deployment of solutions.
What's Needed?
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on ServiceNow application development and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture and consulting clients on such topics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response modules.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and ES5+.
- Certification as a ServiceNow System Administrator and ServiceNow Application Developer.
