Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Part Time Prosthodontist for 2 to 3 days a week to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically confident, and committed to providing exceptional dental care. Your expertise will be critical in restoring and replacing teeth through prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and dentures, thereby significantly improving patients' quality of life. You will collaborate to tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs. Ultimately, your work will enhance both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the patient’s oral health, contributing to their overall well-being and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging to determine appropriate prosthodontic treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, prosthesis maintenance, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver excellent patient experiences
- Uphold all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
- Active UT dental license to practice Prosthodontics
- Strong clinical skills and sound treatment planning abilities
- Completion of an accredited prosthodontics residency program.
- Demonstrated proficiency in prosthodontic procedures and patient care.
- Strong knowledge of dental materials, oral anatomy, and restorative techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
