Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid after probationary period)
A leading multispecialty health system in the Greater Boston area is seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Technologist to join a dedicated outpatient vascular program. This is a highly autonomous role for a seasoned technologist who thrives working independently while delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Independently perform a full spectrum of vascular duplex and physiologic examinations (arterial, venous, reflux, carotid, renal, mesenteric, abdominal aorta, etc.).

Provide ultrasound guidance and clinical support during venous procedures, including ablation therapies.

Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient vascular lab, including workflow coordination and documentation.

Ensure compliance with IAC accreditation standards and participate in QA activities, including exam correlation and reproducibility reviews.

Review images, identify pathology, and provide preliminary interpretations for clinical decision-making.

Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.

Maintain ultrasound equipment and testing systems; coordinate service and quality checks as needed.

Engage in continuing education and maintain certification and CME requirements.

Communicate effectively with vascular surgery leadership and referring providers to ensure timely care and follow-up.

Provide technical guidance to trainees and staff when applicable.
Required Qualifications

RVT or RVS certification required

5–10+ years of vascular ultrasound experience, including venous ablations, in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting

Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound or related allied health field (Associate’s with formal vascular ultrasound training acceptable)

Experience working as the sole technologist in an outpatient setting

Strong knowledge of vascular hemodynamics, pathology, and IAC accreditation standards
Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound or related discipline

Extensive experience with IAC accreditation processes and QA initiatives

Commitment to continuing education and staying current with vascular imaging advancements
