Registered Nurse (RN)to join our
Primary Care Clinic on the Plazain
Kansas City, MO. This is a dynamic role where you'lllead patient care coordination, manage clinical workflows, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule- Monday - Friday
- Shift:Shifts fall between7:00 AM - 5:00 PM(No nights or weekends!)
The RoleAs a Clinical Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional care while serving as a subject matter expert for patient education and assessment. You will be the "anchor" of the clinical team, balancing autonomous decision-making with seamless collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Excellence:Perform patient assessments, order entry, medication administration, and telephone triage.
- Care Coordination:Manage patient flow, schedule emergent appointments, and coordinate with providers and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
- Leadership:Delegate tasks to clinical staff (LPNs/MAs) based on scope of practice and supervise the delivery of care.
- Patient Advocacy:Identify learning needs for families, provide expert advice/recommendations, and handle documentation and testing interpretation.
- Versatility:Support the clinic by covering MA/LPN duties or office tasks as needed and managing expired samples.
Requirements- Licensure:ActiveRN license.
- Certification:CurrentBLScertification.
- Skills:Strongcritical thinking, excellent communication, and a professional demeanor focused on superior customer service.
