As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a 30-bed unit, including 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds. This facility sees an average of 120 patients per day, offering you the chance to utilize your skills in a busy and rewarding setting. You will work alongside a dedicated team, using the Allscripts charting system, and contribute to a full treatment center for sexual assault survivors.
- Provide exceptional care in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize POD nursing for assignments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Allscripts
- Support patients and families with empathy and professionalism
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- At least 1 year of ER RN experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work night and mid shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
