TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City , KS This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays, start 5-8AM, 10-12 hour days
- Pay $29.80+ OT after 8 hours
- Route Type: Local, home daily
- Tanker endorsemenrt
- Equipment: Manual trucks - NO AUTO RESTRICTION
- Handling: Touch Freight
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class A license
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- WILL TAKE NEW GRADUATES
- MUST HAVE TANKER / NO AUTOMATIC RESTRICTIONS
- Must be able to handle outside elements.
- Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Driver is responsible for operation of a truck to collect fabrication material from various locations.
- Must be able to handle outside elements, summer heat and winter cold.
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers.
- Required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Occasionally push, pull, up to 75 lbs.
